My friend Mindy just welcomed this beautiful baby girl!! Picture taking gave us a great excuse to get together, and for me to meet baby 'M'. She wasn't diggin' my new baby hats too much, but overall she was a great sport!! Here is my favorite shot.
I'm so happy that my good friend connected me with Kelly and her beautiful daughter 'C'. And what an unexpected surprise that the day of the shoot it was beautiful and sunny outside - in FEBRUARY!! We took advantage of the weather and headed outside! We had so much fun. Baby 'C' had to let me know when she was done being a model because I could've taken pictures all day : )
Look at this adorable family!!!! I took pictures for Marcia's sister just a few months ago when she had her baby girl, now Marcia and Mike have a new baby of their own - a baby boy. They trusted me with the job of capturing all of his newborn sweetness in pictures! We tried and tried to get baby "C" to sleep, but he wasn't having it : ) We still got some cute shots. Talk about photogenic! This family is gorgeous!
LynneAnne is a fellow speech pathologist in my district. At a meeting one day we realized are both into photography. We have been getting together to practice with out little ones. Her daughter is just a few weeks older than Chase. It is so funny to see out different they are even though they are so close in age. LynneAnne's daughter is speaking in sentences, and is absolutely fearless. Chase is more quiet and apprehensive. Both are hysterical! Here our some pics from our latest photography playdate.
Nieces provide great subjects to practice on! This is my brand new niece - just a few days old when these pictures were taken. I think she looks just like her mommy. So precious.
This is my other niece. Can you believe those eyes!!
My dad found these great old Christmas cards in my grandpa's house. I think they are truly special. They really show how creative my grandparents were, and what a great sense of humor they had. I have been holding on to them trying to think of something special I can do with them. Ornaments maybe? A memory box? I'm not sure, but in the meantime I wanted to share.
